Accountability & Quality Assurance

One of the key principles of implementation science is the necessity of accountability—establishing clear performance expectations based on measurable outcomes. We are committed to helping states, communities, and organizations develop and sustain robust systems for measuring implementation drivers, practice quality, and outcomes. Measurement is crucial to success: what gets measured gets managed, and what gets managed gets done.

Creating a sustainable accountability system is not a one-size-fits-all process. Like Wraparound itself, an accountability system is most effective when tailored to meet the unique needs of each state, community, or organization. We work closely with each site to ensure that data collection and decision-making processes are customized to address your specific information needs and support the many critical decisions required throughout implementation.

Our Approach to Quality Assurance & Evaluation

While every state or site is unique, we support all Wraparound initiatives in achieving common goals by strengthening their capacity to efficiently collect and effectively use data for program and system management. Each site, regardless of where they start, is expected to make good faith efforts to monitor these four key aspects of Wraparound implementation:

  • Young adults & Family Enrollment & Needs: Who is enrolling in Wraparound, and what are their specific needs?
  • Quality of Wraparound: Is the Wraparound care provided of high quality?
  • Supportive Programs & Systems: Are the programs and systems in place adequately supportive to ensure high-quality Wraparound implementation?
  • Outcomes for Young adults & Families: Are young adults and their families experiencing positive outcomes because of Wraparound?

We are committed to partnering creatively to address these needs, ensuring that the evaluation and quality assurance processes are comprehensive and aligned with local priorities. Our goal is to help create a sustainable, ongoing plan that supports local Wraparound implementation, contributes to continuous quality improvement, and informs policy and system development.
