Strategic Implementation
Successful Wraparound implementation results from robust systems-level structures and effective organizational practices. We partner with states, regions, jurisdictions, and communities to identify and address needs that are related to Wraparound implementation and long-term sustainability. Our approach includes a comprehensive organizational readiness assessment and access to technical assistance from the field's foremost experts in system building, leadership, and innovative financing strategies.
Our Technical Assistance Services
We offer virtual and onsite consultation, tailored to meet the unique needs of your state and/or organization. Our team of nationally recognized experts provides guidance on a range of critical topics, including:
- Building Effective System Structures: We help design and enhance system structures such as governance, management, quality assurance, and practice levels, including care management entities and health homes. These structures are essential for sustaining high-quality Wraparound.
- Sustainable Financing Strategies: We assist in creating and sustaining funding for high-fidelity Wraparound. Our expertise includes leveraging Medicaid and other federal, state, and local financing mechanisms to ensure the longevity and effectiveness of your programs.
- Centers of Excellence Development: We support the creation and development of "centers of excellence," typically at the state level, that provide ongoing implementation support, quality assurance, policy guidance, financing strategies, and evaluation and data support. These centers serve as hubs for continuous improvement and innovation and assure NWIC training and technical assistance is locally sustainable.
- Workforce Development Initiatives: We collaborate on the development and implementation of workforce initiatives beyond the Wraparound practice model. This includes critical service models such intermediate care coordination (FOCUS) and mobile response and stabilization services (MRSS). We also help transition providers from residential services to high-quality home- and community-based services, ensuring a skilled and adaptable workforce who can improve outcomes and reduce costs due to unnecessary out-of-home placements.
- Integrating Wraparound with Other Systems of Care: We help implement Wraparound within the broader context of systems transformation. This work includes developing and integrating other evidence-based and promising practices, extending care coordination to child welfare, juvenile justice, and education, and driving innovation across multiple service sectors.
